Heart of Gold Project 5. Performance 1 and 2. 2006 - 2007 -by Tarryn Gill & Pilar Mata Dupont

The second half was performed in Sydney in November 2007 as part of the 'Girl Parade' show at the Australian Centre for Photography. The location of the ACP (i.e. Sydney, home to some of the most famous and infamous beaches in the world) and the fact that 2007 is the Year of the Surf Lifesaver make this part of the work site and time specific. This project harks back to the production work of Busby Berkeley in many a MGM musical in the 1930's and '40's and Florenz Ziegfeld with his parades of the glamorised American Girl in the Follies of the 1920's/30's.
